A short spoken video from Ze Frank, a few minutes long, about the anxiety of starting something new and the permission to begin. It is a pep talk for anyone about to make anything.

HN people use it as a dose of inspiration for starting a project, and one keeps the audio on their player for exactly that.

“I put the mp3 on my player so when I need a bit of inspiration to kick off something I get it going.”

Not a blog post, but a great 3 minute video about beginnings from zeFrank. I put the mp3 on my player so when I need a bit of inspiration to kick off something I get it going. ▶ this video

This reminds me of Ze Frank's An Invocation for Beginnings [1] which is all about starting something and the fear and anxiety that comes along with that. Definitely worth a watch. [1]: ▶ this video
