10 Bullets. By Tom Sachs

10 Bullets is a video by artist Tom Sachs laying out the working principles of his studio, a set of rules for how to work, care for tools and treat others. It is known in part for the principle Always Be Knolling.

HN people treat it as a studio manual worth borrowing from for offices, noting that one submission calls it required viewing for new employees, and cite its knolling rule.

“Better for a studio than a startup office — but worth a look nonetheless.”
