Ted Nelson -- Computers for Cynics [full version]

Ted Nelson, the computing visionary behind hypertext, talks straight to camera about how computers work and how they came to be. The full version of Computers for Cynics covers file systems, computing history, and the key people and lost opportunities along the way.

HN people recommend it as an entertaining, funny tour of computing history told by someone who was there.

“Pretty funny, like his term the PUI (PARC UI).”
