A Day Made of Glass... Made possible by Corning. (2011)

27.3M views · 15 years ago · other · dated

A 2011 concept film from Corning imagining a day in a world where glass displays and touch surfaces are everywhere, from the home to the car to school and work.

HN people love it as an inspiring future-vision ad whose everyday examples feel more believable than other glass-world concepts.

“which has far more every day examples we can all believe in”

I'm looking at Corning's Day of Glass video ▶ this video and once again, I'm being reminded of Apple's biggest weakness. There's no cross-platform functionality and that's going to be Apple's biggest problem within a decade. Any idea how Apple might handle a dilemma like that ?
