[Nerdy] Sorting Out Sorting

"Sorting Out Sorting" is an early-1980s educational film from the University of Toronto that explains how sorting algorithms work using computer animation. It is an early example of explaining algorithms visually.

HN treats it as the classic sorting visualization, still worth watching even though newer pages cover more algorithms.

“Really, you need to watch this if you haven't.”
