real pixel coding

Inigo Quilez's demo of real pixel coding, in which an image drawn in Photoshop is saved so that the pixels themselves become a running 256-byte intro. It shows an animation produced by placing pixels instead of writing conventional code.

HN people hold it up as live coding at its best and as a favorite demoscene trick, recalled whenever something clever is stored in an odd format.

"Your live coding demo is boring" I totally agree that most live coding sessions, wherever they are demos or courses or casuals youtube videos are often pretty bad. But sometimes live coding just rocks : ▶ this video
