The opening title sequence of the STARZ pirate drama Black Sails. It is a short piece of motion design set to the show's theme music, with a hurdy-gurdy in the soundtrack.

HN commenters bring it up as an example of a title sequence they consider hard to beat.

“It's opening sequence is unbeatable.”

Black Sails was a fun fictionalization of that history, crossed over with the prehistory of Treasure Island. It's opening sequence is unbeatable. ▶ this video

Composer Bear McCreary has an interesting video about the hurdy-gurdy and its use in the soundtrack of TV show Black Sails: link The sound isn't for everyone, but I like how it's used in the show's opening credits: ▶ this video
