VR Interface Design Pre-Visualisation Methods

Mike Alger's video on pre-visualizing interface design for virtual reality, from his master's project. It uses 3D renders to show zones around the user, such as the main content and peripheral areas, and the physical affordances of VR interfaces.

HN people point to it as a clear, realistic breakdown of VR interface zones and affordances, with good 3D renderings.

“Here's a nicely realistic breakdown of the physical affordances involved in useful interfaces in VR.”

This guy did his master's project on this subject, and put together this pretty great video: ▶ this video This is the first time I've heard of different zones, like the Main Content Zone, Peripheral Zone, etc. Also the 3d renderings are extremely good at explaining the content.
